Arizona Poppy Seeds – Kallstroemia Grandiflora Orange Wildflower

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

• 1. Choose a location: Select a sunny site with well-draining soil.
• 2. Prepare the soil: Remove weeds and lightly loosen the top layer of soil. Avoid overly rich or poorly draining soil.
• 3. Sow seeds: Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep and cover lightly with soil.
• 4. Water: Keep soil lightly and consistently moist until germination.
• 5. Thin seedlings: Once seedlings are established, thin to approximately 12–18 inches apart.
• 6. Provide sunlight: Grow in full sun for the best flowering.
• 7. Water after establishment: Reduce watering once plants are established, allowing the soil to dry somewhat between waterings.
• 8. Encourage blooms: Avoid excessive fertilizer, which can promote foliage at the expense of flowers.
• 9. Seed collection: Allow some flowers to mature and produce seed if you wish to collect seeds for the following season.
