Brinjal Vegetable Seeds Long Green Eggplant Seeds for Planting – Heirloom Indian Brinjal Vegetable Seeds

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Start the seeds: Sow indoors approximately 8–10 weeks before the last expected frost or start outdoors once temperatures are consistently warm.
2. Sow at the right depth: Plant seeds approximately ¼ inch deep in moist, well-draining seed-starting mix and cover lightly.
3. Maintain warmth: Keep the growing medium warm and consistently moist. Germination generally occurs within 7–14 days under suitable conditions.
4. Provide strong light: Move emerged seedlings into bright light to encourage sturdy stems, healthy foliage, and compact growth.
5. Transplant outdoors: Plant seedlings outside after all danger of frost has passed and nighttime temperatures remain reliably warm.
6. Space the plants: Set plants approximately 18–24 inches apart in fertile, well-draining soil receiving 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
7. Water consistently: Maintain even soil moisture during flowering and fruit development without allowing the root zone to remain waterlogged.
8. Harvest regularly: Pick green eggplants while they are firm, glossy, and tender and continue harvesting regularly to encourage additional fruit production.
