Iris Hybrid F1 Watermelon Seeds – Striped Garden Fruit Variety

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the Soil: Choose fertile, loose, well-draining soil enriched with compost or well-rotted organic matter in a location receiving full sun.
2. Sow the Seeds: Plant seeds approximately 2–2.5 cm deep after the soil has warmed and all danger of frost has passed.
3. Provide Warmth: Maintain warm growing conditions to encourage reliable germination and vigorous seedling development.
4. Water Gently: Keep the soil evenly moist during germination without allowing it to become soggy or waterlogged.
5. Thin Seedlings: Once seedlings become established, remove weaker plants to provide adequate space for healthy vine growth.
6. Space the Plants: Maintain approximately 90–150 cm between plants and provide plenty of room for vines to spread.
7. Provide Sunlight: Grow in a location receiving at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight each day.
8. Maintain Moisture: Water consistently during flowering and early fruit development, preferably directing water near the base of the vines.
9. Protect Developing Fruits: Place clean mulch or another dry material beneath developing watermelons to reduce prolonged contact with damp soil.
10. Harvest: Harvest when fruits show mature characteristics such as a dried tendril near the fruit, a duller rind, and a creamy-yellow ground spot.
