GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare the Seeds: Use fresh, mature seeds whenever possible and clean away any remaining fruit pulp before sowing.
- Prepare the Soil: Use a fertile, loose, well-draining growing medium with good moisture retention.
- Sow the Seeds: Plant seeds approximately 1–2 cm deep and lightly cover them with soil.
- Maintain Warmth: Keep the growing medium consistently warm, ideally around 24–30°C (75–86°F), during germination.
- Water Carefully: Keep soil evenly moist during germination and early growth without allowing it to remain waterlogged.
- Provide Sunlight: Keep young seedlings in bright light and gradually introduce them to full sun as they become established.
- Transplant Seedlings: Move established seedlings into larger containers or a permanent outdoor location when they have developed a strong root system.
- Space the Trees: Allow approximately 6–8 m between outdoor trees to provide sufficient room for mature canopy and root development.
- Harvest: Harvest mature fruits when the shell is fully developed and the fruit shows the characteristic aroma and maturity signs of Wood Apple.
