GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare the Seeds: Use fresh citrus seeds where possible and remove any remaining fruit pulp before sowing.
- Prepare the Soil: Use a fertile, loose, well-draining potting mix suitable for citrus or other fruit trees.
- Sow the Seeds: Plant seeds approximately 1–2 cm deep and gently cover them with the growing medium.
- Maintain Warmth: Keep the growing medium around 21–29°C (70–85°F) to encourage germination.
- Water Carefully: Keep the soil consistently moist during germination but avoid soggy or waterlogged conditions.
- Provide Sunlight: Place young seedlings in bright light and gradually provide established plants with 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
- Transplant Seedlings: Move established seedlings into larger containers or a suitable outdoor location once they develop a healthy root system.
- Maintain the Tree: Water regularly during establishment, provide adequate nutrition, and prune when needed to maintain manageable growth.
- Harvest: If the seed-grown tree eventually fruits, harvest citrus when it reaches mature size and develops the appropriate color, aroma, and juiciness for its type.
