GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare the Seeds: Lightly scarify the seeds and soak them overnight before sowing to help soften the seed coat.
- Choose a Location: Select a sunny location receiving at least 6 hours of sunlight daily, with some afternoon shade in very hot climates.
- Prepare the Soil: Use loose, moderately fertile, well-draining soil. Avoid areas that remain waterlogged.
- Sow the Seeds: Sow seeds about 1/8 inch deep and gently press them into the soil. Avoid heavy covering.
- Water Gently: Keep the soil evenly moist during germination without making it soggy.
- Thin Seedlings: Once seedlings are established, thin them to approximately 8–12 inches apart.
- Provide Care: Water regularly while plants establish and remove competing weeds around the seedlings.
- Enjoy the Blooms: Remove spent flower spikes to maintain a tidy appearance and encourage a longer flowering display.
