GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare the Seeds: Use fresh seeds whenever possible, as tropical fruit seeds may lose viability during prolonged storage.
- Prepare the Growing Mix: Fill pots or seed trays with a fertile, loose, well-draining growing medium.
- Sow the Seeds: Plant seeds approximately 1–2 cm deep and gently firm the growing medium around them.
- Maintain Warmth: Keep seeds in consistently warm conditions, ideally around 24–30°C (75–86°F), during germination.
- Water Carefully: Keep the growing medium evenly moist but never continuously soggy or waterlogged.
- Provide Light: Place emerging seedlings in bright light and gradually introduce stronger sunlight as they become established.
- Transplant Seedlings: Move established seedlings into larger containers or a warm outdoor location once they have developed a healthy root system.
- Space the Plants: Allow approximately 180–300 cm between outdoor plants to provide room for mature growth.
- Harvest: Allow fruits to develop their mature red to orange-red color and soften appropriately before harvesting.
