GROWING INSTRUCTIONS
- Choose a Location: Select a sunny location receiving at least 6 hours of sunlight daily. Petunias bloom best with plenty of light.
- Prepare the Soil: Use fertile, loose, well-draining soil. For containers, choose a quality potting mix with good drainage.
- Sow the Seeds: Scatter seeds on the soil surface and gently press them into the growing medium. Avoid covering deeply because Petunia seeds benefit from light.
- Water Gently: Mist or water carefully to keep the soil consistently moist without disturbing the tiny seeds.
- Provide Warmth: Keep the seed tray in a warm, bright location during germination. Seedlings generally emerge within 7–14 days.
- Thin Seedlings: Once seedlings develop several true leaves, thin or transplant them to approximately 8–12 inches apart.
- Provide Care: Water when the soil surface begins to dry and feed periodically with a balanced flower fertilizer during active growth.
- Encourage Blooms: Remove faded flowers regularly to maintain a tidy appearance and encourage continued flowering throughout the season.
