Purple Pepper Seeds – Heirloom Non-GMO Colorful Garden Pepper Variety

GROWING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the Growing Medium: Fill seed trays or small containers with fertile, loose, well-draining seed-starting mix and lightly moisten before sowing.
2. Sow the Seeds: Plant pepper seeds approximately 0.5–0.6 cm deep and lightly cover them with fine growing medium.
3. Provide Warmth: Maintain temperatures around 24–29°C (75–85°F) to encourage consistent germination and vigorous seedling development.
4. Water Gently: Keep the growing medium evenly moist during germination without allowing it to become soggy or waterlogged.
5. Provide Light: Once seedlings emerge, provide bright light for healthy, compact growth and rotate containers when necessary for even development.
6. Transplant Seedlings: Move seedlings into larger individual containers once they develop several true leaves and become established.
7. Harden the Plants: Gradually acclimate seedlings to outdoor sunlight, wind, and temperatures for approximately 7–10 days before final transplanting.
8. Space the Plants: Transplant outdoors after frost danger has passed, maintaining approximately 30–45 cm between plants for healthy growth and airflow.
9. Maintain Moisture: Water consistently during flowering and fruit development and mulch around plants to help conserve soil moisture and suppress weeds.
10. Harvest: Pick peppers when they reach the desired size and develop their characteristic purple coloration; mature fruit color and flavor can vary depending on the particular seed strain.
